Make It Worthy was delighted to host the Women of AT&T Pacific Northwest Chapter for a memorable Art Activity and Virtual Field Trip! It was a day brimming with education, enthusiasm, and imagination, as our students delved into the marvels of exotic animals and unleashed their creativity through art.

Leading the event was the inspirational Bronwen Bradshaw-Balmos, who serves as the Principal System Engineer and VP of Community Network Infrastructure & Services for AT&T Global Engineering Support. We express our sincere gratitude to Bronwen for bringing this amazing program to Make It Worthy!

The day started with a virtual meeting with Because We Matter Exotic Animal Rescue in Anacortes, WA. During this session, our students were introduced to captivating information about various exotic animals such as crocodiles, porcupines, wolves, giant anteaters, skunks, and more. The children were excited to virtually interact with these animals and enhance their understanding in an interactive manner.

After the virtual tour, students engaged in a hands-on art session guided by Bronwen. They created sketches and paintings of animal landscapes, drawing ideas from the unique creatures they had just seen. Seeing their creativity come to life brought joy to everyone involved!

Every moment was thoroughly enjoyed by our students, who are now eager for more similar activities. Make It Worthy invites businesses and community partners to collaborate with us in offering significant experiences for our students. By working together, we can have a positive impact and inspire the next generation through the exchange of knowledge and creativity.

Abdoulie Jarju, our Executive Director, conveyed his enthusiasm for providing this unforgettable experience to our students, emphasizing that it reflects Make It Worthy's dedication to offering enriching educational opportunities. Abdoulie intends to organize similar events in the future at the center to broaden our students' perspectives and encourage their inquisitiveness.

Special thanks to the Women of AT&T Pacific Northwest Chapter and all those who contributed to making this day truly remarkable!
