The School of Visual Concepts (SVC), a Seattle institution in the design education field since 1971, made a much-appreciated gift to Make It Worthy in early July. SVC transitioned from in-person training to a 100% remote model when the Covid pandemic began, so they no longer needed the furniture and equipment they formerly used in their classrooms. Rather than sell this surplus furniture, SVC donated these items to Make It Worthy:
Rolling Chairs
Easel Stand with Whiteboard
Rectangular Trash Receptacle
Computer
Large Black Metal Lecterns
Metal File Cabinets
Mini Refrigerator
And many more items/office supplies (not pictured)
Their kindness and support have significantly impacted our mission to transform the lives of children, youth, and families in our community. These donations will enhance our learning environment and give our students the tools they need to succeed.
We are also delighted to announce that the SVC team has expressed their interest in visiting our center. We are excited about this opportunity to showcase our programs, and thank them for their incredible contributions. The visit will undoubtedly inspire our students and staff alike.
At Make It Worthy, we are deeply grateful for the generosity of SVC. Their commitment to supporting education and community development is truly commendable. We look forward to continuing our partnership and making a lasting positive impact together.
SVC donations to Make It Worthy would have a lasting positive impact on the lives of many children, youths, families, and the entire organization. These contributions will enhance our programs, providing better resources and opportunities for our students. Additionally, the support will help foster a stronger, more connected community dedicated to educational success and personal growth
